First Article

What i have so far.

Hello Everyone,

I have always been someone who has believed in the voice of the people over just one man or group, and the feeling to express your feelings freely. Honor and Integrity are key components when searching for a Political Party, so when it came to searching for a Political Party I was really having a hard time there were so many to choose from. Top Political Parties in the eUS include the United States Workers Party (USWP), We The People (WTP), and the American People Party (AMP) each of which has more than 700 members each and have a combined 36/40 seats on the eUS Congress. How do you get your voice heard with so many people?

Just staring out and being new to the game I looked around talked to a few players and parties who tried to recruit me. I didn’t realize that Politics was a huge part of this game. Being new is also not a help as I’m learning you need to get your name out there and people to notice you. In short a Political Party that has over 700 people and guidelines on how they choose and who, it would be hard to be part of that as a new member to the party, a new member to the game, and new to politics.

I finally made my decision and joined the Bastards Of Liberty (BOL). Within the first hour I was already being welcomed by members

I wanted to go in this direction and try to get my newspaper started and help you guys out i also joined the SOL so if i can help out or you have any ideas or simply dont like it let me know i plan on being a very active member and intend to learn from you guys and girls so any help will be great

As for supporting the party and the SOL - we GREATLY appreciate any exposure you can give to us. Being a smaller party has its perks, but greater active member numbers help us become more successful (and more fun ). The post you have RIGHT HERE would be an excellent way to do it, by making it into an article.

I have also updated your access so that you can now see the restricted SOL areas.

When My Article is more complete and if i get more ideas i will publish it here again completed and add the link to the loccation you sent so i can get party support thanks JD

I would just add your newspaper to the group link I provided above and then "shout" your article link in game. No reason to to do twice the work

So I am done with my reveiew of the party and gave my thoughts but what do we offer what are our accomplishments .

I finally made my decision and joined the Bastards of Liberty (BOL). Within the first hour I was already being welcomed by members. I joined their Forums and their IRC and I was impressed they were active and friendly. Despite the smaller size of this party with only 96 members they have made strides in the political environment by getting 2 of their members all the way to Congress. The Bastards are smart and someday will become a vital part in the eUS. They support their members and all are heard, if ever a conflict is brought up, they respect each other but at the same time giving there stand on the subject. This is how things get done with honor and integrity.

I hope to become a key member of this Political party and someday be able to give advice to newer players and help the eCountry. I encourage any new players who are unsure about the game or lost to message me so I could help you out best that I can. It is the Bastard way and we could always use some active players even new ones.

The Bastards of liberty was Founded in March of 2012 by Joseph Dinero. JD is a great player and has much exp and information to offer. JD held many positions of importance through his time in eRepublik such as:
-Previous VP of the US
-Previous Party President/Founder
-Previous Arizona Congressman
-Previous Ambassador to Venezuela
-Previous Secretary of Education (US)
-Previous Super Ambassador to Canada

When the founder believed in the goals he set forth by stating:

“For far too long, the administration of our nation has been dominated by the same group of established players. It takes a coordinated group of people to run a country as large and powerful as the United States. Our purpose is to grow ourselves into a position where we can begin to oust the entrenched group who has ran our country for a long time to their own benefit. We will rise to power and take back America, opening the door for newer players who wish to take their eRepublik experience to the next level. We will work hard to ensure that new voices have the opportunity to achieve greatness in the game.”.

Currently the Party President Is Lord Dark Helmet (LDH). For any questions and concerns I encourage you talk with him.

Somebody actually looked up the founding date. I was there and I dont remember.

The Bastards have been around earlier than March of 2012, because I was a member earlier than March. Maybe JD, Deri, or ER knows a more approximate date.

The Manifesto was posted on 12/26/11. So we're at least that old, assuming that these were the original boards and the manifesto was posted at the start of the party.
